It was sheer divine intervention that the consecration of the great South Shirdi Sai Baba Temple held on 20th Januar 2020. The entire world celebrated the 100th Mahasamadhi anniversary of the greatest Avatar of our time – Shri Shirdi Sai Baba.
The Sree Sai Karpagaviruksha Trust hosted several religious & cultural events and Annadhaan during this auspicious occasion. The Akkaraipatti Shirdi Sai Baba mandir (south shirdi) stood tall with glory and pomp reminding all mortals the grandeur that is Shirdi Sai Baba. While 50,000 devotees have descended each day during the 100th Mahasamadhi anniversary in Shirdi, the event was equally magnificent here in Akkaraipatti with Shirdi Sai devotees arrived from around the country and the world. The South Shirdi had sung paeans and glorified the Avatar. Om Sairam!
